How to Become a Better Theologian – Very interesting article

Family
This may qualify as a *must read,* which I rarely say. Addressing an issue I have long struggled with how to properly communicate, it recommends we stop telling our kids not to talk to strangers — they may need to talk to a stranger one day.  Instead, identify TRICKY PEOPLE.
“Mom, I knew they were tricky people because they were asking us for help. Adults don’t ask kids for help.”
As our world grows more and more perverted, it’s almost certain that your child will one day encounter a Tricky Person.  Prepare them!!

Life
Conflicting codes: The bro code and the honesty code.  Was it wrong for teammate to air a video of Nick Young admitting to numerous infidelitites?  Very interesting question to ponder. Reminds me of a book I recently finished: The Astronaut Wives Club, which looks at the lives and work of the original Mercury Seven Astronauts – the lives of those men was full of infidelity, yet they had all agreed to remain silent about it all, even to the deterioration of families.

Education

Work
A great list of warning signs to help spot a bad place to work.  Great resource as new grads are looking for employment.

Et Cetera
On our family road trip in 2012, I set out to locate a portion of the Oregon Trail. After a few hours of a failed hunt, I conceded defeat. Neat to see it from above.
