Faith

Short but sweet; Trusting the Writer of Your Past, by Rick Thomas.  Especially when I reflect upon past sins and failures, it is easy to become discouraged.  But the Lord is the ultimate author of all my life, not just the highlights.

Family

We utilize some fabulous apps that make schooling fun and efficient, but I definitely see a difference in my kids, my boys especially, when any kind of technology is used.  As a result, I struggle with the question of how much screen time is too much.  Some say any screen time is too much.  This article may agree.

Life

Here is an encouraging story for those making physical goals — start running, eat healthier, lose 10 pounds, etc.  From Couch Potato to Iron Man in 20 MONTHS!  His #1 piece of advice, start small.

Education

I suspect the author wrote this in all sincerity, but I am left chuckling.  Is this really what school teachers deal with?  How many of these lame excuses did I offer my teachers?  We Are All Tired: Planning For Better Decorum

Work

“In fact, most days I feel like I’m riding a bike with no brakes down a hill. I’m just swerving and trying to keep from crashing.” How this author describes what it feels like to be an entrepreneur.  It provides a great visual that I can relate to.  Great read, entrepreneur or not.

Et Cetera

A short video to make you smile.  This gal decided to learn violin as an adult — 2 years later, she is rather amazing.  I found it quite encouraging.  So what goal have you been putting off because you think you ‘can’t teach an old dog new tricks?’
